Recently, we were offered a rare opportunity to obtain REAL aluminum skin fragments, from perhaps the most famous B-17 bomber of WWII, "The Memphis Belle"!
​
A piece that was being discarded was legally obtained from the General Contractor of the 2003 restoration done at the Naval Air Station in Millington, TN. That piece was then cut into smaller pieces into what you see to the right. Each display includes the fragment of the B-17 attached to a glossy black & white photo of the Belle, weathered display patches and embellishments, in a beautifully matted and framed display. A Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the back of each display.

Over the years, especially while the Memphis Belle sat in Mud Island in Memphis, TN, pieces and parts were torn off her by people who wanted a souvenir of this historic plane. This is your opportunity to own a piece of her in good conscience.
Memphis Belle is a Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress 41-24485 that was one of the first bombers to complete 25 successful bombing missions over Europe in WWII. It was the inspiration for two motion pictures, and has recently been restored and is on display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, OH.
